L'expression "Without prejudice" ne pose pas véritablement de problème de traduction anglais - français, mais les différentes définitions qui en sont données témoignent de sa grande souplesse et de ses nombreux contextes d'emploi.

Si la locution without prejudice peut parfois prêter à confusion, surtout pour les non-juristes, sa traduction française, « sous toutes réserves », apparaît peut-être plus transparente :

• Traduction anglais : « A tenant may continue, without prejudice, to pay rent... » :
  • Traduction français : « Le locataire peut, sous toutes réserves, continuer de payer son loyer... » (loi canadienne sur la location des locaux d'habitation)

Attention à ne pas confondre without prejudice et without prejudice to.
